The NSI Guarding Gold & NACOSS Gold

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is an independent, not-for-profit approvals body providing inspection services for the security and fire industries.
For over 30 years, NSI has been protecting the customer by insisting on the highest standards and operating the toughest inspection regime. Companies are inspected regularly by highly qualified, full-time inspectors, to prove their ongoing competence.

The SIA Approved Contractor

The objective of the SIA's Approved Contractor scheme is to raise performance standards and to assist the Private Security Industry in developing new opportunities. The scheme is voluntary and was developed in consultation with representatives from across the industry; it only covers those parts of the industry that are regulated by the SIA and the Private Security Industry Act.

The Private Security Industry Act 2001 requires the SIA to establish a "system of inspection for providers of security services, under which those organisations who satisfactorily meet the agreed standards may be registered as approved, and may advertise themselves as such".

SSAIB

SSAIB is a leading Certification Body offering a wide range of schemes for providers of electronic security, fire systems and guarding security services in the UK

Investors In People

Investors in People (IiP) is a voluntary assessment scheme backed by the UK Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills. IiP was developed in 1993 through a partnership of businesses and other national organisations. The scheme aims to improve organisational performance through better planning, implementation and evaluation of learning and development programmes, across organisations of all sizes and sectors.

NASDU

Between 1,500 and 2,000 working dogs are estimated to be working within the Security Industry. That represents a figure almost equal to that of the UK Police Force.

NASDU’s aim is to see that all Security Dogs, Trainers and Handlers certificated to a common National Standard. We are already recognised by all of the security associations, IPSA, BSIA, Skills for Training and the RSPCA and MOD.

BSIA

The British Security Industry Association is the trade association for the professional security industry in the UK. Its members provide over 70% of UK security products and services and adhere to strict quality standards.
The BSIA believes that standards are central to the current professionalism and future development of the private security industry. As such, the BSIA is heavily involved in the development of British and European Standards as well as the production of its own industry standards, codes of practice and technical guides. The BSIA's own standards are often put forward to be developed into British Standards in their own right.

Fusion Security Limited holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Static, Mobile Patrol
and Keyholding services.
